| The new 32-Bit DigaSystem can still work with the old broadcasting timetables as they are used by the NewsPlayer or the CartPlayer. Therefore you need the separate scheduler program "SEPL.EXE". The new scheduler can handle as many jingle groups and as many studios (or newsrooms or whatever it is called) as you like. The information about the studios must be in this key. The information which broadcasting is running at which time is still in the different file "NEWSTIME.DEF", because the NewsPlayer needs this file. Like in the old DigaSystem you have to define clipboards in the file "NEWSCLIP.DEF" and jingle groups in the file "JINGLES.DEF", see the old descriptions for further information.
For each studio you must create a subkey, with a name which will be shown in the studio selection box. Some of these keys can be marked by the value "Mode=Jingles". For the scheduler a jingles list is only a special broadcasting timetable, which is the reason why the jingles appear below the studio-key. Most of the values described in this section, can also be used in a jingles-subkey.
You can define the listed values for each studio, at least you must specify a path and the two formats. |
