| This parameter is only used since version 6.0 for (secure) WebSocket communication.
By default, BCS opens the listen port for incoming client connections on all available IP addresses (network adapters). If this is not desired (e.g. because the computer is hosted in multiple networks) you can specify one of the IP addresses of the computer here. Then BCS will listen only on the specified IP address. Be aware that clients will then need to make use of the specified address when connecting to BCS. Other addresses than the specified one will not work any longer. |
