CheckSlots | |||||
Normally, TurboPlayer checks whether the sum of configured preloaded elements for all rundown lists does not exceed the number of available preload slots of MultiPlayer. This is useful as long as you are working only (or mostly) with audio or video elements. But if you have a lot of external or live elements which need not be preloaded by MultiPlayer this is sometimes an undesirable limitation. Especially for a reuse workflow with live elemnets on a metadata track it is desirable that all live elements are within the preload range of the corresponding rundown list. Therefore you can deactivate the slot check TurboPlayer performs at startup by setting this parameter to FALSE (or No or 0). Pay attention that you do this only if you can make sure by your setup/configuration that it cannot happen that TurboPlayer will try to preload more audio/video elements than MultiPlayer has slots. This would create permanent preload errors in the log and it is not defined, which of the elements get preloaded and which not. | |||||
