| User-defined and DigaSystem presets are both stored in XML files, one for every VST plugin. The location for both is defined by settings, which are sent to MultiRec by the host program (i.e. MTE). The already existing MTE parameter "Settings/AudioFilterPresetPath" defines the path, where the DigaSystem presets are stored. These presets are read, and can be selected by the user, but they cannot be changed or deleted. If the parameter is not defined by MTE, MultiRec will not search for DigaSystem presets. A new MTE build (6.0.511.0) will support the new parameter "Settings/LocalAudioFilterPresetPath" to store user-defined presets. Previously, user-defined presets were stored in the local system folder for temporary files, in a subfolder named "MultiRec_2\Presets". This is also still the default, if MTE doesn't send a "LocalAudioFilterPresetPath" to MultiRec (e.g., if MTE is an older version).
NOTES: - The previous MultiRec wrote presets into files, which were not really valid XML files. This has been changed. Whenever old format files are read, they are automatically stored in the new format. - If a preset file is found in the old location (subfolder in TEMP directory), but not in the new one (LocalAudioFilterPresetPath), then the presets file is automatically stored in the new location. - IMPORTANT: The new storage location and XML file format also applies to non-VST plugins!
