| The Database Manager can simulate overwriting database entries. Creating a new take in one of the audio editors the DBM will present the user a list of the original takes from the same table in which the new take is created. The user can either create a new entry or overwrite one of the original takes. This is only simulated, the DBM will soft-delete the original take and will transfer all data to the new entry. Note: If you use a special file naming the original file must be renamed. This can cause some trouble because the audio editor will still have the file open. The DBM will try to remove the original take from the takeboard of the editor to avoid problems.
Please Note: to run the function properly the create TXT Option of the Audioeditors must be enabled (parameter example:Multitrack/Settings/CreateTXT=1) |
