This value is evaluated by the Database Manager. Whenever someone creates a new take and does not fill the fields in the mask which are listed in this value, a message box about the missing values appears and he cannot save the take.
You can specify a list of keywords (the column names) separated as you like and case insensitive.
If this parameter is set and DBM\CheckFieldsAfterDrop is set to TRUE you will get a message box when you are trying to copy elements from one table to this one which informs you that you will need to add the essential fields after copying the element. After finishing the copy process the input mask of the element in the destination table will open automatically.
In addition, it's possible to define custom fields as 'essential' - see the section 'Digas|Database|SERVER|TABLE|EssentialFieldsEx'.
