| This optional parameter defines the default "Duration Mode" used by the BroadcastServer (BCS), if an element of the specified class is inserted into a show track.
The "Duration Mode" defines the way in which the BCS calculates the total duration (using the given durations of "audio" and "text" parts) of an element. The following values are currently valid: 1 = "audio only" 2 = "text only" 3 = "audio + text" If this parameter is set to an invalid value (or not at all), it is ignored. In this case, the default "Duration Mode" is taken from the global BCS settings (/BCS/Settings/TextDurationMode). Notes: 1. The parameter only applies, if the BCS client application (i.e. DigAIRange or BUS) does not itself provide a "Duration Mode" parameter for the newly inserted element. 2. The parameter is ignored for class "Text", which always uses "Duration Mode" value 2 ("text only"). |
