| When set to TRUE or YES or 1, DBM validates essential fields during a copy operation (drag&drop or via menu).
The EssentialFields parameter defines which fields are essential. If any essential field is not filled in in the entry which should be copied, DBM displays a message, and after copying, opens the metadata mask for the copied entry so that the user can add the required information. Essential fields can be defined globally or per table. If essential fields are defined per table, then the essential fields definition of the target table (the copy-to table) is relevant. |
