Motive
There are five possible settings:
1. "Filename" which means that the motive will be identical to the generated filename without path and extension. (This value can NOT be used in conjunction with the Motive file naming!)
2. "Refnr" or "Number" which means the generated motive is identical to the internal reference number of the entry.
3. "Counter" which will build the motive based on a prefix and a continuous number. With this setting you must specify the prefix after a pipe '|' and you can specify the counter file after another pipe. Example: "Counter|MV-|S:\DIGAS\MOTIVE.CNT".
If the filename is omitted, the file "MOTIVE.CNT" parallel to your first global DigaSystem parameter file is created and used as default. This value applies to all new entries, whether the mask is shown or not.
4. Setting the value to "NONE" means that the database field will be filled with the value NONE.
5. By removing this parameter or its value no value will be inserted but the field will be writeable.
Hint: If you create new entries from existing data (e.g. by drag&drop of DBE files), the default motive is only set, if the field is empty.
The default motive is never applied to old entries which already exist in the database.
Hint: If you add an exclamation mark "!" to the parameter, the default motive is applied, even if the field is already filled. The second effect of the exclamation mark is that the motive field in the mask is read only.
Possible values: Empty, NONE, Filename, Refnr or Number, Counter
