| This parameter influences the behaviour in case a network error occurs. In both cases (true, false) a dialog box appears which informs the user about the network problems.
Parameter = FALSE: When the network connection is lost -> a reset of the showlist and jingles is done (empties the list), the dialog box pops up. After the network is restored the complete show is reloaded. Item play statuses are reset. Parameter = TRUE: When the network connection is lost -> no reset is done, the dialog box pops up and will be minimized after a period of time (3 sec), the showlist and jingles are preloaded again to see which items are playable due to their local audio copies created by DigaCache. Items with audio only on the server could not be preloaded (due to network error). After the network is restored, the show/jingles are preloaded again. The audio stored on the server is now accessible again. Previous play statuses are kept. Parameter TRUE is recommended if working with DigaCache; parameter was introduced to continue functioning even in case of network errors. |
